01Who we are

This website, predco.ai, is operated by PanScience Predictive Technologies Pvt. Ltd. ("PredCo", "we", "us"), registered in India at JP House, Shahpur Jat, Siri Fort, New Delhi 110049, India, with a commercial presence in Paris, Delhi, and Tokyo.

For personal data collected through this website, we act as the data controller. If you want to exercise any right described below, or ask a question about this policy, write to chair@predco.ai.

02What we collect

We collect personal data in three ways, and only these three.

• Contact form. Your name, work email, and — where you choose to provide them — phone number, company, role, industry, area of interest, engagement type, and the content of your message.
• Thesis download. Your email address, together with the page you requested the document from and the referring URL, so we understand which material is useful.
• Server and delivery logs. Our hosting and email providers record technical information such as IP address, browser user agent, and timestamps as part of serving the site and delivering mail. This is standard infrastructure logging and is not used to build a profile of you.

We do not ask for, and ask that you do not send us, special category data (such as health, biometric, or political information) or confidential plant data through these forms.

03Why we use it, and our legal basis

Where we rely on legitimate interest, we have considered the effect on you and limited what we collect accordingly. You can object to that processing at any time using the contact address above.

04Cookies and tracking

This website does not set advertising or analytics cookies. We do not run Google Analytics, a tag manager, advertising pixels, session recording, or A/B testing tools, and the site does not write to your browser's local storage.

Fonts are self-hosted and served from our own domain, so displaying this site does not call a third-party font service.

The one exception is the chat widget embedded at the bottom of the page, described below, which is loaded from another domain and may set storage of its own in order to keep a conversation open.

05Who else processes your data

We keep the list of third parties short and use them only to run the site and reply to you. We do not sell personal data, and we do not disclose it for advertising or profiling.

• Hosting and content delivery. Serves the pages of this website and records standard access logs.
• Email delivery. Transmits form submissions to our inboxes and carries our replies to you.
• Chat widget. The assistant embedded on this site is operated on PanScience group infrastructure. Anything you type into it is processed in order to answer you.

We will provide the current list of named sub-processors on request, and to any customer whose contract requires it.

06International transfers

We operate from India and work with customers in the European Union, Japan, and elsewhere. Personal data you send through this website may therefore be accessed by our team outside your country, including in India.

Where we transfer personal data out of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we do so under an appropriate transfer mechanism, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, together with supplementary measures where they are needed.

Separately from this website, the PredCo platform itself can be deployed on-premise or air-gapped, so that operational plant data never leaves your own environment.

07How long we keep it

• Enquiries that do not become a relationship: kept while we are in contact and for a reasonable period afterwards, then deleted.
• Enquiries that become a customer or partner relationship: kept for the life of that relationship and for as long as we are required to retain records afterwards.
• Document download records: kept while the address remains on our contact list, and removed when you unsubscribe or ask us to erase it.
• Infrastructure logs: kept on our providers' standard retention cycles.

If you ask us to delete your data, we will do so unless we are legally required to keep a record — in which case we will tell you what we are keeping and why.

08Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have some or all of the following rights over the personal data we hold about you.

• Ask for a copy of it, and information about how it is used
• Have it corrected if it is wrong or incomplete
• Have it deleted
• Ask us to restrict how we use it, or object to that use
• Receive it in a portable, machine-readable format
• Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting what we did before you withdrew it
• Unsubscribe from any message we send, using the link in that message

To exercise any of these, write to chair@predco.ai. We will respond within the period the applicable law allows — one month under the GDPR — and we will not charge you for a reasonable request.

If you are in the EEA or the UK and you think we have handled your data badly, you can complain to your national data protection authority. We would appreciate the chance to resolve it with you first. If you are in India, you may raise a grievance with us at the address above under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

09Security

Access to form submissions is limited to the people who need it to reply to you. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections, and our internal accounts are protected by the access controls of the providers we use.

No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you and the relevant regulator where the law requires it.

10Children

This is a business-to-business website and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

11Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and the date below. Where a change materially affects your rights, we will take reasonable steps to tell you directly.
