Construction & Infrastructure

See every site the way the safety head wishes he could.

A construction company runs dozens of live sites with cameras already on them, a batching and crushing fleet that stops without warning, and a bid team that reads tenders by hand. PredCo turns those cameras into continuous safety and progress evidence, watches the equipment that holds a schedule hostage, and reads the tenders so the team bids on the right ones.

AI for construction works on the cameras and equipment a contractor already has. Site CCTV becomes continuous safety monitoring: missing helmets and harnesses, people under suspended loads, trucks in pedestrian areas, blocked egress, with alerts to the site engineer in under a second. Sensors on batching plants, crushers and DG sets predict failures before a pour is lost. The same platform reads tenders, drafts the compliance matrix and keeps BOCW and ESG evidence in one place.

PredCo is an industrial AI company headquartered in New Delhi. For construction and infrastructure companies it runs computer vision on the CCTV already on site to detect missing PPE, people in exclusion zones and vehicle-pedestrian conflicts, monitors batching plants, crushers and generators for failures, and automates tender reading and compliance evidence. Deployed cloud, hybrid or on-prem.

Four problems every project head carries from site to site.

Sites are temporary, spread across states, staffed by subcontractors, and judged on one thing: the schedule. The tools that work in a factory have to work here without a control room.

01
One safety officer, forty acres, three shifts
Working at height, excavations, cranes and reversing trucks all at once. Supervision runs on walk-rounds and goodwill, and the near-miss nobody saw is the fatality next month.
02
The batching plant stops, the pour stops
A mixer gearbox, a crusher bearing or a DG set failing mid-pour costs a day of schedule and a concrete truck queue. Maintenance is reactive because nobody is measuring the equipment.
03
The bid team reads everything and bids on too little
Tender portals publish hundreds of notices a week. Engineers spend their best hours on eligibility checks and compliance matrices instead of pricing the jobs worth winning.
04
Evidence lives in WhatsApp groups
BOCW registers, toolbox-talk records, PPE issue logs, dust and noise readings and client safety audits arrive as photos and PDFs. Reassembling them for an audit or a claim takes weeks.

Who owns this on your side, and what each of them gets

Head of HSE / Safety head
Gets: Every site visible from one screen; near-misses counted, not remembered; audit evidence that builds itself.
Stops worrying about: Being the name on the incident report for a site he could not be at.
Project director / Plant & machinery head
Gets: Equipment failures predicted before a pour is lost; utilisation of cranes, mixers and trucks by site.
Stops worrying about: A schedule slip that lands on him because a gearbox nobody was watching gave out.
Head of bids / Business development
Gets: Every relevant tender read on the day it is published, eligibility and compliance checked, the team pricing only the ones worth winning.
Stops worrying about: Missing a qualifying tender, or losing one on a clerical disqualification.

How a first deployment runs

Small, measured against your own numbers, and live before the quarter ends. Nothing is promised that the first site cannot show.

Stage 01 of 04

Week 1: site survey on your cameras

We pick two to four existing cameras per site: the gate, the crane radius, the batching plant, the excavation edge. No new hardware; the camera has to see the zone, nothing else.

What a first site produces in six weeks

A first deployment is deliberately small: a handful of cameras on one live site, chosen with the HSE head, measured against the site's own incident and near-miss log. Nothing is promised that the cameras cannot see.

  • PPE and exclusion-zone events per gate and per shift, from the cameras already on site
  • Vehicle-pedestrian conflicts at the crane radius and the truck loop, with the clip attached
  • Blocked egress and material left in front of fire points, flagged while it is still there
  • Headcount in a zone during a drill or an incident, by subcontractor
  • An evidence trail the client's safety auditor can open, not a WhatsApp thread

Deployments are described without naming the operator. We are under confidentiality with every customer on this page.

Questions construction and infrastructure teams ask.

Not covered here? Ask a PredCo engineer. We reply within one working day.

Yes. PredCo works on standard RTSP or ONVIF streams from the cameras already on site, whatever the brand. What matters is that the camera sees the zone: a camera on the gate, the crane radius or the batching plant works; a camera pointed along a hoarding does not. Part of the first week is moving one or two cameras, not buying new ones.

Scope a first deployment in construction & infrastructure.

  1. Tell us one site or plant and what you want to see first.
  2. A PredCo engineer replies within one working day.
  3. We walk through how the first six weeks would run, on your own cameras, equipment or documents.
